This park is offering shelter for various migrating birds and swimming is the best recreation in this sanctuary.
Location: Placed in Mahoba district of Uttar Pradesh on the shores of Vijay-Sagar.
Specification: Scattered by an area of 3 square kilometres.
Introduction: It was established in the year 1990 by Vijay Pal Chandela during 11th century. During winter you can come across with various birds migrating and taking refuge in this region. The sanctuary provides recreation like Swimming for tourists as there are many water spots that can be observed in the sanctuary.

Flora and Fauna: Wild species like Wild Cat, Mongoose and Jackal can be seen in the sanctuary.
Best time to visit: December to February is the ideal time to visit this sanctuary. Kakramath Temple, Sun Temple at Rahila Sagar, Manaiya Devi Temple, Gokhar Hill are some of the places to visit near Mahoba.
